The commitment of cimt ag reaches far beyond business issues. We are aware of our social responsibility and support different humanitarian, cultural, and charitable organizations.
Our social commitment acknowledges that a sound social environment can only be achieved by a responsible way of treating each other and living together.
Everyone is a mainstay of this commitment. Based on the initiative of our employees and the board of directors, we annually collect considerable donations for various projects.
A purposeful use of these funds is of utmost importance to us. Hence, we only support organizations and projects that fulfil this requirement

Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation
The small city of Paphlu is situated just 80 kilometers south of Mount Everest, in crisis-ridden Nepal. There, in 1975, the legendary alpine climber Sir Edmund Hillary has founded an urgently needed hospital. Today, 18,000 people receive outpatient treatment every year. Another 1,300 are treated in hospital and 500 surgeries are performed at 2,650 meters above sea level. Read more...

Theatre Group "RambaZamba"
RambaZamba - that is the name of a theatric group for people with mental handicaps, which was established by Sonnenuhr, an art workshop in Berlin. Since its foundation in 1991, the "crazy theatre" brought 14 full-length plays by two groups on the stage (Director: Gisela Höhne respectively Klaus Erforth). Read more...
