SAP Netweaver BPM
SAP Netweaver BPM is based on standardized Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN). BPMN was developed by IBM employee Stephen A. White and published by the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI) in 2002.
BPMN is a graphical notation for specifying business processes management. In SAP Netweaver BPM business processes are modeled with the help of SAP Netweaver Developer Studio and the Process Composer and visually depicted as Business Process Diagram (BPD) visuell dargestellt. The transformation of a specified business model into execution languages such as Process Execution Language (BPEL) effects the die alignment of services, so that business processes can be automized in SAP Netweaver BPM and integrated into the SAP system landcape as an executable and system overlapping process.
