ECM - Enterprise Content Management
The inter-trade organization AIIM International defines the term Enterprise Content Management (ECM) as follows: "Enterprise Content Management embraces technologies for recording, administration, storage, preservation and allocation of content and documents for supporting organizational processes within the company."
ECM is part of the corporate information management and especially focuses on the weak or unstructured information, which we encounter in form of documents, or more general - in a variable form of content. ECM summarizes with regards to content via technologies as follows:

Our technological competences:
We are implementation partners with IBM. Moreover, we have accompanied projects, where ECM products of the companies Saperion and Easy Software AG have been applied. For the digitalization of paper-bounded documents, we have broad experience with the products of Kofax company.
For the data extraction of digitalized documents, we predominantly use the products of our partner company Docutec AG. Especially we have realized successful solutions for automated incoming invoices and the transfer of extracted and validated data to SAP systems.
Current trends:
We are keenly observing the development on the market of ECM solutions. Especially we register, that OpenSource solutions like Alfresco are successfully establishing on the ECM-market. Also, we follow the introduction of Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) with high interest and hope for improved possibilities of integrating ECM solutions into the IT landscape of our customers in the future.
