Client integration for Philips Medical System

After having successfully completed several SAP projects for Philips Medical System, the objective now is to realize a common client application for all sales divisions. Within this project scope, different sub-projects involving cimt employees have already been realized or are currently realized. Among others, that is the consolidation of the European SAP clients and the ones from Asia, as well as the integration of further European country divisions.

Some components of the former IT infrastructure need to be connected by communications applications. Operations require many interfaces, especially the management of customer and supplier transactions.

The different needs of national divisions within an international company set higher requirements regarding the technical realization and maintenance of interface functionality.

Together with the number of users, the availability of SAP functions increases. In the context of ?Service Management?, new processes for the range of services of PMS are defined and implemented. In order to provide the necessary SAP functionality, the system requires an upgrade to release 4.6.

The manifold tasks that need to be covered simultaneously require a well organized but flexible project management. The long-term experience our employees have gained in technically supporting SAP systems of Philips, is one of the critical key factors for the success of this project.
